Event Sharing

Each "region" (can be thought of as city or large geographic area) can have multiple customers or subscribers to the data. For instance, if a city, the chamber of commerce, a local newspaper, any Local Kidz Stuff affiliates all subscribed to the region's calendar, they all would enter events on their own behalf. Since the calendar uses one database to store all events the regional calendar, and each individual subscriber, would benefit from all those events being in the calendar and from distributing the workload of entering the events.

Community and Website Calendars

Let's face it, there are many calendar options out there available…but none are this cool, useful, and scalable.

There are a few different types of calendars we provide. They are specifically built to meet the needs of particular uses and scenarios.

Community-wide Calendars

Markets: City governments, Economic development organizations, Chambers of Commerce, Local media

Community Calendar provides a unique, themed, hosted website application to house all your community events in one place. You select what categories you want to show, like: City Business, Chamber Event, Civic Organization Meeting, Charity Event, Community Event, Festival, Family Fun, Sporting Event, Concert, Business Sales, and much more.

Our events calendars can provide great value to your community, such as:

  • Economic growth: bring people into your city of town increasing sales tax and other revenue.
  • Promotion and tourism
  • Promote volunteer needs and volunteer-based organizations
  • Promote local festivals and community events
  • Prevent over-booking: by placing all community events in one place, event organizers can plan future event dates that do not overlap with similar or other large events.

Features

  • Custom-designed theme matching your requirements
  • You choose the event categories that will be displayed and used
  • Custom URL (http://yourtown.localeventz.net)
  • Event Sharing: If there is more than one subscriber in the community, events are loaded from multiple sources. See Sidebar.
  • The annual subscription covers all upgrades to the software
  • It's a hosted solution, so there are no hosting fees, software, or hardware to buy.

The Community-wide Calendar works best if there are more than one subscribers (contributors and users) of the system. We recommend that Chambers of Commerce and the local city government join as subscribers.

Cost: $1200 with $300 initial setup fee (includes 3 subscriptions)
